Perforated Base Insul Hangers are used to fasten insulation material to walls and ceilings. Perforated Base Insul Hangers have a 2" square steel base which is perforated with nail sized holes. The holes/perforations allow a screw or nail to be easily installed to mechanically fasten the Perf Pin to a wall/ceiling. These perforations are specifically designed for use with Pin Adhesive. The Pin Adhesive is applied to the back of the pin base and when the pin is pressed against a wall/ceiling the adhesive will come through the penetrations creating a solid bond. Once the pin is fastened or adhered, the insulation can be pierced onto the pin which is attached to the perforated base. A Self Locking Washer is then placed onto the pin to securely hold the insulation in place. The excess pin length can then be trimmed with Channellock end cutters.
Sold in packs of 100, each box comes with 100 pieces of 2-1/2" Perforated Base Insulation Pins with 100 Self Locking Washers. For jobs that require minimal rigid foam insulation fasteners, this 100 pack comes with everything an insulator needs for installing board or wrap.

Good Value
The washers and pins are just what I wanted but I thought the dome caps were included. My mistake and I ordered separately when I realized. Just had to wait longer and pay for another shipping fee. Value is excellent compared to other vendors.

Insulation pin hangers
These are awesome to hang your blue styrofoam boards on your block or concrete inner walls when finishing basement, and you do not want the hassle of drilling.
lling for anchors or don't want to use construction adhesive and wedge the foam for the needed 24hrs to set. Make sure to use a pin hanger adhesive or good construction adhesive to set the hangers and let cure for a few days before attaching foam. Even with shipping, almost half the price of everybody else, considering nobody sells the pins and washers as one unit. Thanks BIP -

Reattach Roof Insulation
Our warehouse had some roof insulation get wet and fall down. After fixing the leak, I could get the insulation back up because it tore at the wall.
Putting these pins up was easy and once the adhesive dried, I was able to quickly get the insulation pinned back up. -

Excellent for attaching Corning 703 to ceiling
Last time I attempted this was quite a few years ago and I don't think the product was available. These made the job SO MUCH EASIER. Highly recommended.
