MetroFlex Z-Clips are used as fasteners for installing framed acoustic panels to walls. 2 metal Z-Clips fasteners are screwed into the top of the frame facing down with the Z facing away from the back of the panel, while 2 Z-Clips are screwed into the wall facing up with the Z facing away from the wall. The Z-Clips for wall panels are made to slide into each other forming a solid anchor for the acoustic panel. To ensure level installation, make sure to use a level when placing the z-clips on the wall, and make sure the distance from the top of the acoustic panel is the same for both Z-clips fasteners screwed to the back of the panel.
MetroFlex Z-Clips are made of galvanized steel and come in packs of 24 pieces (enough for 6 panels). Z-Clip mounting hardware can also be used in conjunction with MetroFlex Z-Bars (12" Long Z-Clips)

Excellent product for hanging absorbers
I am very happy with how the Z clips worked for my project. I had initially planned on using picture frame hooks before I saw these. Worked as described and the absorber panels look great and snug to the wall! Used 2" fiberglass and the Pineneedle Green / Onyx Black fabrics and they look store bought. I received multiple compliments and "where did you buy those?" questions since inviting friends over for movie nights.
