The G-26 Outward Clinch Tacker gun is a common tool used by most mechanical insulators around the nation. Unlike common staplers and tackers, the G-26 Tacker bends the staple outwards and out rather than inwards or straight. The reason the outward staple is to grip paper and facings (FRK, ASJ, etc) securely.
MOST COMMON USES OF THIS OUTWARD CLINCH STAPLE GUN:
- Stapling closed ASJ Jacketing SSL laps for permanent closure
- Stapling the FRK facing on fiberglass duct wrap
- Stapling the FRK facing on duct board
The G-26 Outward Clinch Tacker is designed for exclusive use with STCR 2619 type fine wire staples, to ½" leg length. The outward clinch door is easily removable for front loading of staples, or replacement. Wearing parts, such as the outward clinch door, and most other parts, are compatible and interchangeable with the discontinued T5-8-OC tacker. This special application outward clinch staple gun is normally only available through specialty distributors to the Insulation and HVAC Industries, or trade catalogs. This tacker stapler is designed for use with Markwell STCR 2619 type staples. Similar to: STCR 2619-1/4” STCR 2619-3/8” STCR 2619-1/2" Galvanized and Stainless Steel.
