Amcraft Black Female Shiplap Duct Board Tool

The Black duct board tool is a handheld device that is used to carve out a female shiplap or rabbet cut in fiberglass duct board.  The Black duct board rabbet cutter makes the 1st cut in the "Shiplap Method" of duct board fabrication.

The Black kerfing tool can be ordered for 1" thick, 1-1/2" thick, or 2" thick Fiberglass Duct Board.  The Black rabbet cutter duct board tool will carve out a rectangle shape out of the fiberglass that is half the thickness of the duct board. For example a 2" black rabbet cutter duct board tool will carve out 1" of fiberglass.  

Female Shiplap Cut Dimensions:

1" Black Tool: Cuts a 1-1/4" wide x 1/2" deep Female Shiplap

1-1/2" Black Tool: Cuts a 1-3/8" wide x 3/4" deep Female Shiplap

2" Black Tool: Cuts a 1-7/8" wide x 1" deep Female Shiplap
