MetroFlex Z-Bars are used as fasteners for installing framed acoustic panels to walls.  1 metal Z-Bar is screwed into the top of the frame facing down with the Z facing away from the back of the panel, while another Z-Bar is screwed into the wall facing up with the Z facing away from the wall.  These insulation board clips are made to slide into each other forming a solid anchor for the acoustic panel.  To ensure level installation, make sure to use a level when placing the Z-Bar on the wall.

    Only comment I have is that they are not aluminum as described, but work very well.

    *Tom, these used to be made from aluminum however the manufacturer changed it over to galvanized recently. We will update the description - Thanks BIP
