Calcium Silicate (Calsil) Pipe & Block Insulation

Calcium Silicate Pipe and Block Insulation (Calsil insulation) is a molded, high temperature, abuse-resistant pipe and block insulation with exceptional structural strength, composed of hydrous calcium silicate for use on systems operating up to 1200°F (649°C).

Calcium silicate pipe & block insulation meets or exceeds the physical property requirements of ASTM C 533, Type I.

Calcium Silicate has superior resistance to breakage and physical abuse.

Because of its strength, low thermal conductivity and durability, Calsil insulation is the preferred product for application on high temperature piping and equipment.

Recommended for use in the petrochemical and power generation industries.

*This material must be shipped via pallets LTL or full truckloads (not recommended for UPS).  Calcium Silicate Insulation is very fragile and some breakage is normal during shipping.  We recommend only receiving this material via LTL and using Cal-Coat 127 insulating cement to fill any cracks or product voids that may have been created during shipping.
