White PVC Pipe Insulation Jacket is 20 mil PVC sheet heat curled to fit perfectly around insulated pipes. This plastic pipe wrap material is commonly used in food processing facilities and mechanical rooms to create a clean look (USDA/FDA Approved).
Each piece of jacketing material is 36" long and has SSL tape (Self Sealing Lap) down the inside of the lap to provide easy installation. The use of serrated tacks is allowed on hot systems (not cold/chilled). For Cold/Chilled piping systems seal laps and joints with PVC tape. For exterior applications or USDA food processing applications, please seal all laps and joints with PermaWeld PVC Liquid Adhesive for a water tight bond. Use of our Bungee Cords will help in the installation with use of the PermaWeld adhesive.

Quality PVC
Jacketing is perfect size and good quality. Only suggestion is you definitely need tacks/glue to seal it. The adhesive alone is not enough.

Cut and Curl
Great product easy to install if the surface to be covered is even and consistent. Use lots of all sizes. Would like to see it delivered tighter in roll as the sloppy fit is harder to get applied.

PVC cut and curl jacketing
I used this jacketing to cover several sections of split-sleeve fiberglass insulation for 6 inch pipe. It was used to insulate 6 inch heating-cooling ductwork on the ceiling of an un-heated tuck-under garage. It enclosed the insulation nicely, providing a thicker, stronger covering over the paper-like cover already on the insulation. It was nicely compatible with the 45 degree and 90 degree joint covers which I used on the bends. The covers include peel-and-stick adhesive along each length. I used the 2 inch wide white PVC tape to secure the joints between each length and to secure and fit the bend covers.

Curling jackets
This is exactly what I was looking for. I covered some pvc piping for my furnace that ran through the garage. These made them look like brand new pvc.

36 INCHES IS PRETTY SHORT AND FORCES US TO USE MORE OTHER THAN THAT PRODUCT IS A GOOD COLOR AND HOLDS UP WELL OVERTIME. STURDY AND DEPENDABLE. -

Whenver I have to insulate pipes on a job I make sure to order PVC jacket too. It hides all the imperfections and literally blows the customers away when they look. I can also install a lot faster because i know the jacket will make everything okay

Need this to cover steam pipes
My local plumbing supple store was $16 or each 4 feet piece. Thank god i found this site. These are the PVC jackets you need in order to cover the fiberglass insulation of steam main pipes to give it a clean and professional look on top of sealing in the fiberglass insulation. If you have steam heating, your mains in the basement should be covered with fiberglass pipe insulation then these PVC jackets. Don't forget the elbows and unions and PVC tape. Its all here.

Easy to work with
This is made of quality durable material. Can cut to length with sturdy scissors or snips. The peel and stick edge seems to have good adhesion.

Pretty good
We used this to cover some insulated pipes in our church basement hall that went from the floor to the ceiling. The previous insulation had been ripped to shreds from people bumping into it, furniture getting moved against it, etc. It did not look good and was not great to have kids around it.
We put on new insulation and then put this PVC jacketing over the top to protect it. It definitely looks a lot better than the old ripped insulation and even looks better than the brand new insulation (which we also purchased from this store). So the looks are definitely good.
It remains to be seen how long this will last. Note that this is fairly thin PVC, which is good for installation since it is fairly flexible and easy to mold around the pipe insulation. But I'm not sure how it is going to hold up when furniture gets shoved against it. And it is white, so I'm not sure how dirty it will get. It is glossy, though, so it shouldn't be hard to clean. But even if the PVC gets damaged, this is cheap and easy enough to install that I'm sure we could put another layer on if we wanted to.
It's slightly annoying that these come in 4' lengths while the insulation comes in 3' lengths. Maybe this is standard in the industry, but it means you have to do some fancy math to make sure you're getting the right amount for your project, and you're pretty much guaranteed to have to do some cutting.
The sizing is perfect when matched with the pipe insulation. As I mentioned this is flexible, so you might be able to get away with slight differences in sizes, too, if that was needed. The adhesive strip is easy to use.
Overall a quality product at a reasonable cost. Thanks!
